A hotel since 1886, the main building of The Hartland Quay Hotel was joined by The Wreckers Retreat Bar when its original stables were converted.
Today, in what were the old corn and hay lofts above the bar, you will find our comfortable en-suite bedrooms, ranging from standard and sea-view doubles, to twin and family bedrooms. All bedrooms are non-smoking.
Further accommodation is provided in our 3 bedroom cottage, sleeping up to 7 people, making it ideal for families or small groups. The cottage has stunning sea views and 2 shared bathrooms. There are no catering facilities, so the cottage is let on a nightly B&B basis.
Our comfortable guest lounge boasts spectacular views out to sea – we think there is no better place to relax or to enjoy a good book in peace. There is ample free parking available for hotel residents. Please be aware that the nearest petrol station is 15 miles away, so you may wish to fill up on your way here.
All our rates are inclusive of a full English breakfast, and there is free high-speed WiFi available to guests throughout the hotel. We are also happy to arrange a packed lunch for your day trip out – please make sure to request this the night before, if required.
We are more than happy to welcome well-behaved dogs in the cottage and the Wreckers Retreat Bar, just let us know upon booking. Please note, however, we don’t allow dogs in the main hotel bedrooms or our breakfast room.
